Farhaana Khatun works in the medium of fibre and textiles whilst considering the idea of mental illnesses within a gendered context; the relationship between how genders are treated differently within the health sector. She creates sculptural forms from Perspex and coloured thread to depict the struggles that females face on a day to day basis which often lead to anxieties developing.
